We’ve had a very busy few days in Dublin. Students have been attending English classes in the morning from 9.00 – 13.00 every day. After lunch, everybody meets up to go on our afternoon activity. On Monday, we went ‘Urban trekking’. A guide brought us around some of the important sites of Dublin such as Trinity College, Dublin Castle, Temple Bar and the Ha’penny Bridge. On Tuesday, we visited the medieval museum of Dublinia and learned about Dublin’s Viking heritage before we visited the impressive Christchurch Cathedral. Yesterday, we took the train to North County Dublin and visited the beautiful Malahide Castle and Gardens. Students are busy shopping at the moment, looking for souvenirs, and of course, the popular Dublin/Ireland hoodies. This evening we can look forward to Traditional Irish dancing and music in the school before heading back to our host families to pack our bags and prepare for flying back to Madrid tomorrow.
