In October 2014, the 3º E.S.O. students showed what they learned about the cell structure by creating models of eukaryotic plant or animal cells. Students were creative with their models by using various materials to create their cells. These materials included clay, fruit, jelly, and even candy! Students worked in groups of 2-4 and prepared a final presentation to explain the function of the organelles. Students also presented about the connection between the organelles and the materials they chose to use. This project allowed students to have hands-on experience and to use their English to explain their project. The students did an awesome job!
