In December, the 3º E.S.O. students demonstrated their knowledge of cell structure by creating models of eukaryotic animal or plant cells. Their cell models had to include the different parts of a cell (cell membrane, nucleus, mitochondria, etc.) and could be made out of any materials they wished to use. Some students chose to use clay, paper or cardboard while others decided on edible materials, like jelly. Students worked in groups of three and prepared a final presentation, which they gave in class.
