Women’s Day

On Women’s Day all the different departments both in English and in Spanish chipped in to raise awareness about the inequalities that women have suffered throughout history, the strives they’ve made and the work that is yet to be done.

Students in Science Classes researched famous women scientists who were perhaps unknown to students to raise awareness about their accomplishments. The History Department worked with several students from 2nd D to put on a play about famous women leaders and writers.

They dressed up in character to represent each figure and then proceeded to tell important facts about their lives in English and in Spanish! Way to go girls! All in all the day was a success as both young girls and boys realized the importance of equality and the long road ahead of us if we are to truly achieve it.
