Solidarity with Guatemala (3rd of ESO)

Two volunteers who work in Guatemala came to speak to students about living conditions there and how they can help. The speakers also distinguished the difference between charity and solidarity for students, explaining that charity is when you offer a donation to someone in the hopes that it will better their living conditions (this is obviously temporal) and solidarity is when we help those people improve their overall quality of life long-term. It was a very interesting and moving presentation. Here we have a few video clips of the talk.
