In Science class in 1st of ESO, students are taking samples of onion cells, dyeing them with “methylene blue” and placing them underneath a microscope. This lab achieves two goals in 1st of ESO Science: 1st, that students understand the various parts of a microscope and 2nd, hands-on discovery of a plant cell.
